Your Day

This one day conference is aimed at primary and secondary teachers. Local authorities and those supporting schools with Maths provision will also be in attendance. It is free for you to attend thanks to the support of our exhibitors and sponsors. As the name suggests, it really is a celebration of maths! Some of the outcomes and experiences that we expect you to gain on the day include:

  • Inspiration about what makes Maths great. We are all passionate about Maths in our teaching –  and we will equip you with practical ideas about how you can translate this passion into action within your classroom.
  • An ability to select from a wide range of topics and workshops so that you can build a day bespoke to you. Whether you want to develop new techniques to use in the classroom, understand more about Government plans, boost your confidence as a practitioner or hear from some top-name speakers, you can build a day to suit your learning and development needs.

How it works …

  • The event opens at 9.30am with the exhibition. We ask that all delegates attend the keynote address.
  • From 11am, you will then be able to select options. Please note that all workshops are one hour long, so if you select a mainstage it is not possible to select a separate workshop within that same block. You are welcome to attend both mainstages within a block, or combine a mainstage with browsing the exhibition.
  • Workshops do have maximum numbers, to ensure a quality delegate experience. A number are repeated throughout the day and we recommend that you book early in order to secure your choices.
  • At the time of booking you will be required to choose your options. Due to the nature of the event it will not be possible to change these. All choices will be printed on the reverse of your delegate badge on the day.

We are delighted to be welcoming a number of high-profile guest speakers. You can read more about these within our speaker section.

As a hub, we believe Maths is fun. As a delegate you can also enjoy the evening element with our Big Pub Quiz. This will be hosted by Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett as seen on ‘The Chase.’
